RAGBRAI 2019 Day Six: Fairfield to Burlington

Day six turned out to be a 70 mile ride with a bit of a change in the scenery.
The hills were longer and less steep and the field crops were more varied.
Buzz and I realized we were not maintaining our weight and made an effort to eat more... half-pound fried pork loin sandwiches seemed the appropriate course of action!
I met a most unusual fellow from the UK pulling a tuba wagon behind his trike who entertained us in one of the town parks... so cool!
We also caught sight of the mighty Mississippi River, though the front tire dipping ceremony will come tomorrow.
