the most joyful flower

I went back to work today and caught up on emails. I only have 3 days to hand over my job to Sally and then we are off on holiday.


Day two of my Journal of Joy Project.

I can't think of another flower or colour that expresses joy as much as a yellow sunflower. Can you? We had a lot of rain yesterday and last night. Even this morning the sky was grey and cloudy but by lunch time the sun was blazing down. It really was as bright as this sunflower appears.

~ Sharing an afternoon with my Blip friend Helen (LuvU2)
~ Touching the cameleon Charmaine has rescued which reminded me of my late dad.
~ Seeing all the wild flowers along the roads that have popped up because of all the rain.
~ Sharing a smile at my father-in-law and realising that he is such a gentle soul who spreads his charm to all he meets!
