Guilty Conscience Shop Experience

Standing in the queue, trying to justify to myself the purchase of non fair-trade bananas (they'd run out, how badly did I need banans?) I began to wonder which of my purchases was the least politically correct.

Battery reared chicken breast (Sorry, Hugh, I'm just a tight bastard on Tuesdays)

Oatcakes (palm oil industry destroys the habitat of Orangutangs)

Fresh herbs, air-freighted in from Israel. (Global Politics, Global Warming)
