i C what U did there

...moving swiftly on from the title, i have spent the vast majority of the day cracking on with the holiday 'homework' i was set to meet deadlines at the end of the week. No of course i didn't know about this 2 months ago, i'm pretty sure they only mentioned it in the last week before hand in date...
So here i am, on a casual day, with alcohol, wire wool, garlic and latex gloves. What!? don't be absurd, i'm clearly preparing copper to paint on.
Step 1, wire wool.
Step 2, rubbing alcohol.
Step 3, garlic.

There are quite a few reasons as to why you use these processes, and it all gets a bit sciencey. So bare with me until there is a pretty picture painted on top (there will be updates i'm sure (unless it turns out really rubbish, (in that case this never happened OK?)))

(note, i don't think anyone should have alcoholic garlic smell on them, it's not appealing)
