Where dogs fear to tread

One of the changes of the new room is having a wooden floor. The downside, as far as Jack the dog is concerned, is that he hates the surface so much that he won't, no matter how much he wishes to, walk on it. Today, when the whole pack is on the bed opening presents , he simply can't be persuaded otherwise. Here he is with his hind legs securely on the landing carpet peeking around the corner. Poor beast!
