Today's the day ……………………… for Arts and Crafts

It's the annual Arts & Crafts Trail in Kirkcudbright at the moment - four days when people open up their houses, and sometimes gardens - and put on display all sorts of original creative work.

And amazingly for such a small town, there are well over a hundred venues for you to go and visit and see what's on offer.  There are a lot of creative people out there - including Will, who has some paintings up for sale in a friend's house.  This was one of the gardens on display - a most beautifully designed space at the back of one of the terraced houses.  It was brimming over with interesting plants in very clever juxtaposition to show each one off to full advantage.

It's just the sort of garden I'd like to have myself …………………...
