Sunday straw.....

A lot of rain during the night and again this morning. So much for summer.
The contractor that baled winter barley straw for me yesterday brought 3 artic trailer loads up . It took a while to unload as I had to keep the top bales separate because they were wet and had to go on the top of the stack again to hopefully dry out without heating.
By the time that was done it was mid afternoon so I went down the road for the last 10 bales myself.
Raining again tonight so decided to put a new set of blades on the mower Incase it decides to dry up sometime .
