Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Victor popped in this evening as he was picking Mary Doll up from a night out and was early. When he left, The Eldest Mini Princess was in shock. “Grandad CHATS. And he’s funny. REALLY REALLY funny,” she said in bewilderment.

I pointed out that when Mary Doll is around, no one, including Victor, tends to get a word in edgeways. She was genuinely amazed by his hilariously cutting humour and commented that we were more alike than she had realised.

I’ll take that compliment!
