Nice day at a friends until this horror got too much to handle.

Home to discuss financial matters with FIL. He was born in Ireland. Moved to the UK when he was 19 and lived here until 2005. He moved back to Ireland and its not been a happy story to be honest.

Now he wants to come back and we need to work out the best way to do this as his house in Ireland is worth very little.

I am grateful that his move gave me a chance to fall in love with what is a wonderful country but he needs to be here.

We also talked wills, burials and power of attorney. It's a difficult topic but at 79 it's important.
