..when is France stay in a chateau!
After a big day with Vincent we finally found the entrance to Le Chateau Des Alpilles... how can one miss  a huge gate leading to this wonderful building! Well it was a very long road with no actual 'house number' and a sat nav who was determined we had 'passed our destination'!

Anyway.
What a joy awaited in this 'small chateau' originally on rural land belonging to a 13th century knight and a farm ' Mas de Gaiilard'.
It then became a castle  'Chateau des Alpilles'.
The Bon family took ownership in in 1979 and three generations of women from the family run this glorious place (extras)
