Jacobsburg State Park .....

We made our usual Sunday run to Jacobsburg State Park this morning stopping at the frog pond first.  

After taking lots of frog pictures we decided to go down to the creek for a short walk.  The weather was very pleasant at this point .... not too hot or humid yet.  At the creek we ran into this family wading in the creek. The dad was in the water almost up to his knees and he said it was quite cold! I liked the t-shirt the young boy was wearing.  They must enjoying cruising as it said "Seas the Day"! Cute!

Before we left this morning we had Monarch #2 emerge .... she was another female.  When we returned from our outing we released her. I have added her as an extra. I was unable to get a picture of her outside the enclosure as she was ready to fly .... and fly she did immediately upon release. She was released in the memory of Springlilly's beloved dog Inca.  xoxo
