Scarred for life

My scar doesn't look too bad in black and white. The dressing is off now although the nurse gave me a couple of dressings in case I need them. Kate had a dreadful journey over to me as the M6 was at a standstill and Preston was gridlocked. We did make it to my appointment in time. 
I had my first shower using my new shower stool and it felt so good. I've also changed the compression socks and moisturised my legs which felt marvellous.
