Demolition in Progress

On Thursday night (01.08.19) this derelict mill on Burnley Road, Mytholmroyd was devastated by a large blaze that needed more than 80 firefighters to get it under control.
The Victorian building, previously home to Walkley Clogs, closed in 2002 after a spell as a tourist attraction.
As you can see, the mill was damaged beyond any thoughts of repair, and it is now being demolished.
