A Postcard from The Mumbles!

The Mumbles, Swansea, Wales

After yesterday’s outing, a very quiet sleepy day playing about with my photos, trying to create a collage with the few photos I had without spots!

The day in brief:
- Train to Swansea (a birthday treat so First Class!)
- Bus to the Mumbles and Oystermouth Castle
- Walk along the Swansea Bay promenade to Verdi’s for pasta and the best Tiramisu on earth!
- Mumbles Pier to play on the penny machines (I won 28p!)
- Stroll along the newly renovated pier to the RNLI lifeboat house, past the nesting seagulls
- Back to Verdi’s for their famous ice cream
- Home by bus and train, First Class of course!

(Looks much better in “large”. Just love the Welsh version of “Mind the gap”!!)
