St Malo

We travelled with our bikes on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo, which looked nice enough to be a holiday destination. But from there we caught local trains to Rennes and then Nantes where we emerged at 2pm and to 39deg. C. The following 40 miles took us 7 hours!
