Precision Engineering

These days even a toaster can boast it's precision engineering credentials. As opposed to imprecise engineering I suppose.

Last month I put a slice of toast in the old Dualit and got distracted by a Skype call. It was only when the smoke started to penetrate the study that I remembered the toast. One broken timer, a very burnt piece of bread. Dualit customer services score 0 out of 10. So this is the new toaster. modelling a tasty muffin and a rather sophisticated slice of Waitrose walnut bread.

2013 first 'Lesson Learned': never buy a posh toaster, you'll just feel resentful when it breaks.
