Edinburgh Fringe

Highlights:
The Last of the Pelican Daughters by the excellent Wardrobe Ensemble - addressing the relationships between adult siblings, one of whom has cared for their ill mother while the others have been free to lead their own lives, and how the potential inheritance deserves to be shared. Poignant, humorous, pointed, well staged and well acted.
Josie Long's stand-up, Tender, on how being a new parent blitzes your life.

Isle of Lewis chess pieces. Not fringe, but the National Museum of Scotland was a welcome interlude.

Flop:
Anything with a Pulse - relationships and sex among the early 20s. Two actors playing many characters without enough to distinguish them. I wasn't at all sure who ended up doing what with whom and nor did I care.
