Ruru- native Morepork Owl

i have this wee character at home. It has a broken leg which is healing well. He is obviously feeling better as he spends his day pulling off his bandage, and this morning hearing a commotion I checked him- only to find him hanging upside down in his box, from the lid- glaring at me.. He is quite gorgeous. We dont have very many of these as patients, so this fellow is very special.
