Polo in Ham

S&S had a house full of party guests and lots of food to eat up, so decided an afternoon picnic watching Polo was a good idea. I don’t think there was anyone who didn’t have a nap at some point and although I think we were all full from yesterdays feast we still managed a few nibbles.
Polo is a great sport to watch, even if you don’t know the rules and the commentator at Ham is very funny, and so posh. It baffles me a bit though that after each game there’s an award ceremony, and lots of back slapping. We of course are across the ground from the club house, mere plebs, whose job it is to “divot stop” between plays. All great fun.
