Pied Wagtail (Motacilla alba yarrelli)

I have noticed that many of this species have a certain amount of yellow on their cheeks during the winter.

Not sure if this is one of our regular birds, or one that has migrated in from further north / north-east. It was certainly having a feast on the masses of unseasonal flies on the beach attracted to the seaweed washed up by recent storms.
