Distant Cousins

From my limited research, I don't think these two are related.  The caterpillar is of the Cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaeae) and while I couldn't identify the butterfly/moth, it certainly didn't look like the one corresponding to its earlier form.


I was up on the Chase, testing out my knee while L was riding.  I've decided not to risk it playing golf tomorrow.  The combination of distance and the movement needed to strike the ball are both likely to aggravate the bursitis so I shall have to give it a miss.  Frustrating.
