Gladdies.

I’ve had a lovely afternoon having afternoon tea at a church friend’s house in honour of her special birthday today.
She has other things going on later in the week and on Saturday with her family but it was a lovely way to spend a special day.

The predicted rain held off again apart from a few spots and I took this shot of these lovely Gladioli, now flowering in the garden, this morning. They are mainly a peach colour but you can see a couple of red ones opening a little further down the path.

Chris is now complaining that the pots still need watering. Think the weekend forecast will put that right!
