Busy, busy, busy

Yep, believe it or not, this is a very busy afternoon on Holkham beach. Lots of families were out enjoying the sun and the wide expanse of beach. G and I decided to get down to the shore by going left from the entrance rather than right or straight on as we normally do. When we got there this was what we saw - our way ahead needing us to cross the channel of outgoing tide. So to avoid a long walk back we took off our walking shoes and socks and went for a paddle, which was actually rather nice. I must take a towel with me next time to save bringing back a load of sand in my socks!!!  It got very windy as we walked back to the car and within minutes it was raining heavily - good timing!
