Shades of pink

I thought the flowering hydrangea in our garden looked lovely with its  pink tinges.  It wasn't until I looked closely in this macro shot that I realised how discoloured some of the petals had become.  But a lovely splash of colour all the same.

Rather a dull day today and I did the usual classes this morning.  In the afternoon I timed a quick trip to the allotment to pick more courgettes and raspberries and got back home just before a very short but heavy downpour.  Then it was tea and cake in the high street with friends, unfortunately they didn't want any courgettes.
