Up Toward the Heavens

Susan and I spent some time with my sister this morning. She slept throughout most of our visit but then came alive towards the end. I noticed lately that she has moments where she stares up toward the heavens, much like my father did near his end, she seems very focused on something. I find it to be a very spiritual experience. Even the angle of her head is the same as my father’s was. I can only imagine.

Lord, your ways are beyond mine.
