Perth from Moncrieffe Island

Today myself, daughter Maria and grand-daughter Sasha, used as a rest day as dogs were not permitted at the day's orienteering event. As a rest we went for a walk and a spot of geocaching on Kinnoull Hill with views of Perth and the River Tay - not really a rest but they say a change is as good as a rest. Moncrieffe Island lies in the middle of the Tay at Perth. It is large enough to have a patch of woodland, allotments and an 18 hole golf course! I liked this view of Perth taken from the tip of the island.
