It's Wednesday.......

.....so it must be Make, Do and Mend......

Subjects covered.....childbirth (luckily we got that out of the way before Mark arrived!), living off-grid (not that any of us do!), 'summer jobs', hats in general but wet-felted witches hats in particular (no comment!), what's on at the weekend by way of local entertainment (2 day vintage seaside festival at Whitley Bay and Cullercoats Harbour Day on Saturday), the pros and cons of bamboo knitting needles, fishermans ganseys, the problems of ageing fingers when it comes to dexterity and of course the 2 essentials, what was on the bargain bench at the veg shop and what we were having for our tea.....some things remain constant ;-) 
We even managed some sewing and knitting by way of light relief........
