It's just not (a) cricket....

.. if it's a grasshopper, but the umpire is saying a cricket (I welcome any identification). Whatever, it's away from its natural habitat, basking on the quayside rails (just metres from the spot where yesterday's hopeful angler was).
It can certainly move; as it scurried along I tried to do some panning shots and failed! I didn't go out intending to take any such pictures, which proves the point that you never can tell what may turn up!
