Zaanse Schans, Netherlands

Backblip.
Another day of being tourists in our own country. We went to Zaanse Schans, which is a very touristy place. We met up with my cousin and his wife who live nearby and did what all the tourists do; admire the windmills and take pictures. I had been here before in 2016, but it wasn't so crowded then. We were told people who live in the area complain about the amount of tourists visiting, because traffic is horrible and not enough parking spots available, so everyone keeps driving around. If you want to visit, consider going there by public transportation. 

Afterwards we walked into the small town on the other side of the water and visited a brewery (Brouwerij Hoop) where we had lunch and enjoyed a nice cool beer.
