For the Bees and Butterflies

I had wondered if the park gardeners were going to plant wild flowers on this stretch of ground earlier this spring...and yes they have. Past its best, I imagine it still looks colourful and welcoming to lots of winged insects.

I've had a lovely day of chatting, eating and walking with my friend Anne who was one of my son's midwife many years ago. We had a good walk in St Neots before having a lovely lunch at Bohemia, the popular tapas bar. Then back home to sit out in the garden and carry on our chatting, this time joined by Jack.
