Smashing eggs
What a jam packed exciting day. I noticed a 'wifie' hitching a lift at the side of the road.* I offered her a lift, pointing out I had several messages to do before the journey. It turned out she is on holiday from Edinburgh to try and escape the crowds. Not wanting to leave her alone with my bag I invited her into John and Sheila Allen's furniture Emporium. Whilst I awaited Cliffy to mix my paint we tried out a new leather suite. The wifie warned me that I must be careful, for if one sits on a leather settee in the nude it is so easy to get stuck to said settee if the weather is sultry. When the paint was ready I went to the Co-op for cream; I even had the temerity to tap money off my passenger!
When the journey commenced I thought it would be a good idea to share some Orcadian hospitality. The Current Mrs Creel wasn't a peedie bit nonplussed when I invited the wifie in for a meal. Well, she fairly got her feet under the table. She supped wine, blethered about knitting. Then blethered about wool. She breathed through her lugs whilst eating, only taking time out to praise CMC's pudding.
A post prandial CMC climbed on board and the three of us headed for the West Mainland produce show.
I am now lying down.
