Premature celebration

It's not my birthday till tomorrow but tonight we are at a "guinea pig" night at Shibden Mill Inn. Tasting sample dishes from their forthcoming menu and giving feedback. A lovely birthday treat, lots of fun, and we are staying over too.
It's made Dave and Liz leaving a bit easier. We are hoping he's well enough at the end of the year to want us to visit. I'm hopeful.
