Off Shoot.......

While walking this am, I spotted this tree........   it has been recently trimmed.   In the course of nearly 2 years, I have looked at it multiple times....
But today, I saw this off shoot coming out of the ground.  It has been there a long time, as you can tell from the thickness of the branch/trunk.  When you scratch around the ground you can find roots going between the trees. It is really unique!!!
