It's always hard to say goodbye...

After work I met up with Arachne and we went to two shows, both of which I would recommend. The first was Sarah Keyworth who was a slow burn of delight. I really liked her quiet style of delivery and subtle, nuanced observations. The second, and today's blip, was Desiree Burch. The contrast between the two was marked - one English, one American - one lesbian, the other straight - but both clever, well observed commentary. Desiree reminded me of the best of America - funny, smart, clever and never shying away from sensitive subjects. I howled with laughter.

All in all a great night - thank you Arachne!
