Room with a View

The restful part of my afternoon with Una was disturbed by this over-sized lawn mower passing just a few feet from where we sat :-)

The many good memories of her thirty plus years in this house are making it hard for her to leave and a few of the good memories are of times with David enjoying the view across the Wensum valley farmland that their home overlooks.  Today she had me looking for a couple of things that she wants to take with her when she moves.   These jobs always start with a game of charades or Twenty Questions as her impaired speech complicates even simple instructions.  Thankfully there is always laughter to ease the way.

This morning I got the first look at my 'new nose'.  I'll spare you the details of the less than pretty sight but it's healing OK and may be available for public viewing after next weeks appointment!
