Gynt 2

Up early to say farewell to my visitors and then off for a swim. Home to relax, and do some clearing up. There was an unexpected choir issue before I went to Haymarket. I now have a decision to make.

The sun came back today which meant coats were not required when mum and I went to the Sheraton, a pre show meal.

The concert at the Usher Hall was excellent, the BBC SSO. 'Glorious Percussion' was the first piece, very loud but very enjoyable It took 30 minutes to pack up their instruments and turn the stage round for the second half which was 'Peer Gynt', Grieg. It was interesting hearing the well known music after last night's play. A good evening.
