Bike Route, Driving Home

I've pictured this tree before, on a bike ride maybe in late September or early October, but never from this angle. I know I've shot many trees in these days, but that's how it's going to be. This is the first shot with the new camera, the Nikon D600, and I'm loving it. Steep learning curve for an old dog, but I'll get there. What is not seen in this picture is the howling east wind that chilled further this cold day. We're deep in the heart of winter, and we'll take the sun, cold or not.
