Late night walk

This was taken very late last night, as Cathleen and I walked back with Rula from the Ballygrant Inn after an excellent SNP Islay Branch social evening,

It came at the end of a wonderful day which started with breakfast at Kilmeny (where Blair and Margaret were as hospitable as ever) , took in a surgery on Jura and included a superb afternoon at the Islay show which was full of conversation and good company and where I also held, as I usually do, an on site surgery.

Days like this are rare and special as was the light and colour in the sky over the island.

This morning when we woke it was , however, glowing a gale and the mist was low down on the hills !
