Backblip: Eglise St Hilaire
Day 2 in Melle and we followed the circular route about the town. The exposure count must have been into three figures, between all the bark shots in the arboretum, and this church.
Second backblip from our trip to Melle. The first is here.
St Hilaire, one of three Romanesque churches in Melle, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it is not difficult to see why.
Still a working church, it has a modern surprise inside this handsome and ancient building.
