All Together Now

With the sweat pouring off of me and my lens and eyepiece continually fogging up I spotted two large red ants dragging the carcass of an expired roach across an expanse of fallen pine needles. As they struggled, another of their kind came to their aid, joining in to help move their treasure closer to their mound. Once they were able to get the prize to the cement walkway, the helper left and the original ants dragged it toward their home. Whew! I love witnessing natural drama like this! And then being able to share this  it with you! :)
