Northbound

This piece of equipment is going to carry me the first half of the journey to Härnösand in Mid-Sweden. From Stockholm another similar machine brings me all the way, there aren´t any direct flights from Kalmar to Sundsvall/Härnösand airport.

I was fetched at the airport by my good old friends Keith/url]&Janet, also dedicated Blippers. They took me on a wonderful walk to the river delta near the airport. The airport is actually in the delta, on one of the main islands in there.

The climate is noticeable cooler than where I just came from but it´s so nice to be back for a visit in the area where I spent 23 years of my working life. So many memories, so many familiar places and yet, different, since it´s 14 years since I moved to Kalmar.

I´m here to celebrate a class reunion, one of my early classes at the gymnasium is having their 30th anniversary from when they were finishing school. But that´s tomorrows blip.
