Payday not 'til Saturday...bugger!

Due to the New Year pay day has been put back to Saturday 5th January.

If you have a job here in China you don't choose your bank your employer does. So, when you get a new job you may have to open up a new bank account with which your employer deals with for its finances.

The card here is a debit card. China has something called Union Pay which is equivalent to Switch or Delta in the U. K.

As you can see my bank is one of the big four ICBC Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Currently the world's largest bank by market capitalisation.

The other three in the big four are:
BoC - Bank of China
CCB - China Construction Bank
ABC - Agricultural Bank of China
