Toots in Solitude

Almost daily

It's not as if I have my head stuck out of the window for hours on end or anything but it almost seems like it's a daily occurrence that there is a police car or sometimes police van in the street when I do look out. Perhaps the polis get a nice cup of coffee or tea with a rich tea biscuit or doughnut with the offending tenants. They seem to visit different flats, sometimes one side of the road, another time the other side. I'll not pin point this on the 'blip map' in case I get a shotgun through my window. That did happen once when I lived in a flat in Home Street, someone fired a pellet gun through my window, breaking it. It was random I might add, I wasn't a target.

Today was once again rather rainy so I didn't go to Dunbar as planned, I'll leave that for a nicer day as it's quite a way to go for rain. So I wandered doing a few errands - that ticket office again! - in Edinburgh's rain. It did clear up later on though and on the last lap of my outings homeward bound had my raincoat screwed up into my bag and sunglasses on (my £1 ray ban ones from a charity shop).
