Tower Power

Our granddaughter came to help MrQ with tech issues. She did a grand job and we very much enjoyed entertaining her to lunch.

I took Ollie dog for a quick walk at Fishers Green this afternoon. We had a few showers and strong winds. On the bridge over Seventy Acres Lake we could hear the wind humming through the power lines. Many birds have been grounded while they moult but I noticed that some are taking to the air again, including this cormorant. I've chosen this image for my blip as many parts of the country have experienced powercuts. Luckily we haven't been affected.
