Swans on the Mole

Today I was really happy. I decided to take a break from my computer at work and go for a bit of air. I always forget how lucky I am to work near the river, often opting to walk into town rather than along the path.
The sun appeared as I emerged from the office and I decided to walk along the river looking at the flowers, bees and butterflies and even a fish darting through the clear water.
When I got to the end of the path, I crossed over the road to look at the river the other side of the bridge and saw the swan family. Mum, Dad and 7 teenage cygnets!! I was so pleased as all of the cygnets disappeared last year, presumably eaten by predators so the swan parents had done a brilliant job this year! Seeing them there really made my day
