irony

First day back at work since my 3 day stint last week. A four day weekend to remember? No. But it was pleasant to sleep and rest a lot. Yesterday was the only real amount of activity (working on the father in law's tractor, see yesterday's photo), so it felt good to be tackling things and continuing tying up loose ends on a project I did last week.

As a photographer and web designer who doesn't hardly do either in my current position, I enjoy what I do. It's a good atmosphere, and the bosses are lax where it works for me. I still prefer my freelance schedule, but alas.

Paid rent today. I find it ironic that our landlord lives in an area where you have about 5-6 acres, densely wooded, in the middle of Keller. Who'd thought that in the middle of suburban hell, lies a little piece of heaven.
