Tea, scones and cake

This afternoon we caught the train to Carstairs, then cycled the short route through Clydesdale to Bella and David's (new) house just outside Biggar. Our first treat of the weekend was afternoon tea. We managed a couple of freshly baked scones, but have saved the lemon drizzle cake until tomorrow or Sunday. The four of us chatted almost non-stop from our arrival until bedtime over tea, drinks, and dinner. We also introduced Bella to the Exploding Kittens.

This morning I completed some work-related admin tasks, including expenses.

Exercise today: 8 mile bike ride, some walking (5799 steps).
