Carnivore

Here is a similar carnivorous plant in son #1's garden. He's been growing them for years but this summer they can enjoy a garden rather than a windowsill. I'm not entirely convinced by them but they're his plants.

An early walk from which I returned feeling far too hot. Had to change before setting off for coffee with son #2, his partner and the girls. Then on to Glasgow for lunch with son #1 and the baby boy. A much more enjoyable lunch than the one the plant was having. The babies are both developing so fast. The four year old is great company.

Home now and off for a walk with the third of my children to try to tire the dogs out. There have been a couple of heavy downpours but the weather has remained warm and sunny. And a bit humid.

Otter's urine test was ok and nothing to worry about but he needs a kidney function blood test. The vet suggested he might just be hot and needing to drink more at night. I'm holding on to that thought.
