A Wild Day

Strong winds and heavy rain for much of today.  I set off in the car to drive to Barrow to buy a new lawnmower but didn't even get as far as Ulverston as the road was blocked so that was a waste of time!

The cause of all this stormy weather is a deep depression coming off the Atlantic.  Sadly it looks as if there is another one following it so the next week is likely to be very unsettled weather.
