Baking Day

I forgot to upload this last night, but here is day 2 of the year's photo.

The weather was a bit of a nonevent yesterday, so we only had a little walk and then had a day of baking. This is my favourite "thing" in our home and rarely a day goes by without it being used.

I've been baking since my Mam trusted me to read scales properly and invested in the Kitchenaid when I was stuggling to hand mix everything with a newborn who apparently wanted feeding round the clock. Since getting it, I've realised it does far more than amazing bakes; homemade pasta is now a staple in the household and the addons you can buy are plentiful. I fancy the meat grinder/sausage stuffer next...
